My Story

I've been a nurse since 1996 and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2019. My experience working evening and overnight shifts has reinforced just how vital quality sleep is for overall well-being. I believe that prioritizing rest and establishing healthy sleep habits are essential foundations for mental and emotional resilience. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply mental health impacts every aspect of our lives. That’s why I take a holistic approach to care—because true wellness means nurturing the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

I earned my undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from Northeastern University in Boston. I’ve completed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) training and the Mini-Fellowship in Behavioral Sleep Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to my clinical training, I’m a certified Forest Therapy Guide through The Forest Therapy School, allowing me to incorporate the healing power of nature into my work. I’m also certified in Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra, a practice that promotes deep relaxation, and hold a Reiki Level II certification for energy healing. Additionally, I’m trained in restorative yoga, which uses gentle movements to reduce stress and support healing. Currently, I am pursuing certification in iRest Yoga Nidra meditation through the iRest Institute.

I am a Health at Every Size® provider because I’ve seen how harmful weight-focused care can be and how much better people thrive when they’re treated with respect, not judgment.

From my own experiences and those of others, I know that real health isn’t about a number on a scale—it’s about sustainable habits, self-compassion, and feeling good in your body. Everyone deserves care that meets them where they are and supports their well-being, no matter their size. Bringing together these tools, I integrate mental health care with restorative practices that support stress relief and better sleep—helping people heal on every level.

I live in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts.
